Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2021 has entered into the group stage after the conclusion of Play-Ins. Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2021 as known as IEM Katowice 2021 have a massive prize pool of $1,000,000 USD.
IEM Katowice 2021 Play-Ins saw the elimination of 8 teams. Some major names of CS:GO esports couldn’t make through Play-Ins. Teams who got eliminated from the tournament are as follows:- Movistar Riders, Wisła Kraków, Cloud9, Fnatic, MIBR, Complexity, Team One, and Renegades.
8 Teams from Play-Ins qualified through the group stage of one of the biggest CS:GO Tournament of the year. In the Group stage, there will be 8 invited teams who got invites on the basis of ESL Pro Tour points. Total of 16 teams will participate in the group stage.

Group Stage of Intel Extreme Masters Season XV – World Championship is scheduled to start from today. 16 teams are divided into 2 groups where they will face other teams from the same groups. Matches will be played in the best-of-three format. Let’s take a look at the groups:

Top 3 teams from each group will move to IEM Katowice 2021 playoffs. Winners of both groups will get direct placement in semi-finals and the runner-ups will be placed in quarterfinals high seed. 2nd runner up teams will move to Quarterfinals low seed. IEM Katowice 2021: Playoffs will take place from 26th February to 28th February. All matches will be played in Best-of-three format. Grand Finals will be played in BO5 format to determine the IEM champions.
