SCHEDULE AND LOCATION FOR KIC
It will be thrilling to see who will win when the group stages of the Honor of Kings Championships (KIC) begin on December 3, 2022, and the finals begin on December 30, 2022.
KIC will be held in Seoul, South Korea, and Shenzhen, China. This competition will feature a total of 16 teams competing to win the title of world champion.
SLOTS DISTRIBUTION
A total of 16 teams from different countries and regions will participate in the KIC, 8 teams from king pro leagues and 8 teams from other regions and leagues
From KPL
Two of those spots will go to the Chongqing Wolves, the summer KPL champion, and Wuhan star pro, the Champions League squad with the most points.
Based on their Champions League points at the end of November, the 12 KPL teams will compete for the remaining 6 berths.
Each of the winning teams from the regional competitions held in October in Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, and the MENA region will receive a spot.
The qualifying round will be held in November to fill the final 4 berths.
In Shenzhen, the group stage and elimination will be attended by the eight KPL clubs.
