HasanAbi slams viewers for their claims of Turkey and Syria earthquake funds: “I hate it…” Twitch streamer HasanAbi responded to criticism claiming that the recent fundraiser for the earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria is a scam. Check out the details below.

A massive earthquake that struck areas of Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023, killed thousands of people and left many more without access to energy or water. In order to ensure that the money goes to the people most in need, HasanAbi made it clear that he was seeking organisations that are not connected to the Turkish government.

HasanAbi reported that he and his audience raised $150,000 USD in just under 15 minutes of starting the donation. Ahbap, CARE Turkey, CARE Syria, and the AKUT Association are among the charities that benefited from HasanAbi’s fundraising program.

Many other streamers like IShowSpeed followed in his line to raise funds for victims. Fans of Speed immediately started labelling the fundraisers as a fraud, saying Hasan was keeping all the money for himself so he may purchase more pricey stuff.

Bursting such claims on live stream, Hasan responded to the criticism by claiming that he had done nothing wrong and was only trying to aid the victims. “I’ve never done anything wrong, I haven’t done anything wrong in this situation. I haven’t done anything wrong in the past other than f*cking buying a house. I bought a nice car that is well within my means,” he said.

“I hate it. These people are so f*cking desperate to vilify me even when I’m trying to raise money for a cause actively they go and harm the fundraising efforts. There are literally people under rubble right now.”

He continued: “Instead of turning around and being like ‘Maybe this time I should leave Hasan alone’ they went and actively undermined IShowSpeed and stopped him from donating $50,000. It’s crazy that this is how far m*ther f*ckers will go.”

HasanAbi has helped collect more than $876k for those affected in the deadly earthquake.
Other streamers have also done the same and are striving to those who need help.
