If a recent leak is to be believed, Halo Infinite multiplayer will be getting a few more maps on board. While Halo Infinite’s multiplayer feature has been a huge success, it has received significant criticism for its lack of content and problematic microtransaction system, which 343 Industries is presently working to fix.
According to a recent data miner of Halo Infinite on Twitter, five new multiplayer maps will be coming soon, with the following names:
- Bath Salts
- Cataract
- Forbidden
- Beltway
- Solitude
For a closer look at some of the maps, see the previews below. However, it’s worth noting that the photos below depict maps in the early phases of production, which means they’re made up of placeholder and low-poly materials. To put it another way, the assets you’re looking at aren’t final. They’re only there to give you a broad concept of the map’s layout.

The disclosure of these new maps, like every other leak that has yet to be confirmed by an official source, should be taken with a grain of salt. Despite this, it’s evident that 343 Industries is working hard to improve and expand the game, with new unlockables and remedies for issues like Big Team Battle. At this time, Infinite’s multiplayer has been available for around two months, so an update with new maps isn’t out of the question.
It remains to be seen whether or not these maps will satisfy Halo Infinite’s ardent audience. The preview images included with this Tweet don’t give a good idea of what these maps will be like to play in. New maps will very certainly be introduced to Halo Infinite at some point. Halo Infinite is available via the PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Game Pass.
