Global Esports (GE) is the only Indian team selected for the VCT 2023 partnership program. The popular esports organization is yet to announce its roster ahead of VCT 2023. To meet fans’ expectations, Vatsal Uniyal, head of esports for GE, revealed some tips.
Uniyal stated that Global Esports plans to create a 10-player Valorant team, and the names of the participating players will be revealed soon. It will be a mix of existing GE players and new players.
Selected players on the team will train together at GE’s new Bootcamp in South Korea. As Uniyal mentions, only the top six players from the previously mentioned squad will make it to the roster of players who will compete in the opening VCT 2023 tournament from February 2023.

Riot Games listed a number of conditions for its VCT partners, one of which limited the maximum Valorant roster size to 10 members, including players and coaches.
The announcement video on Twitter briefly shows a footnote stating that the decision is subject to Riot approval. Officials may be planning to execute the plan, but they have yet to deal with Riot’s roster-building clauses.
Global Esports is known for taking its time in building its competitive roster. Uniyal described how the organization will evaluate Valorant players based on many factors, not just mechanical skill. He also acknowledged that South Asian Valorant teams have a drastic skill gap compared to teams from other regions.
Global Esports seems to be trying to overcome the disadvantages and build a capable team capable enough to stand as a fierce competitor against the best teams at VCT 2023.
According to the VCT 2023 roster rules, all partner teams are required to submit a draft roster of at least six members by October 15. So fans can receive an update on the Global Esports roster over the next few weeks.
It is clear that the organization is dedicated to building the best possible team and roster for VCT 2023.
