Genshin Impact Version 3.4 Event Preview: Check Details On All The upcoming Events in Genshin Impact 3.4 Update
Through the Lantern Rite festival, all the characters from Liyue, the land of Geo gather up and light up the night sky with candles to honour their fallen heroes. The Lantern Rite festival this year is special as it comes with various other events and rewards.
Event Details
The Lantern Rite festival is scheduled to be released on January 18, 2023 just after the 3.4 version update goes live and will offer a wide range of exciting rewards. This is the list of rewards that the traveller will receive throughout the event:
- Crown of Insight
- Primogems
- Mora
- Character Ascension Materials
- Talent Level-Up Materials
- Character EXP Materials
- Mystic Enhancement Ores
Other commodities that are going to accompany the Lantern Rite festival include the music festival arranged by Liyue which will most probably feature two of the most favourite characters of the game Xinyan and Hu Tao as the main stars of the show.
Another event that is included in the Lantern Rite festival is the Paper theatre mini-game, a traditional art form of Liyue. The game would consist of weapons and characters made of paper. The players would get a chance to participate in the traditional festival of Liyue through this event.

The players have a chance to win a free Liyue 4-Star character by inviting them by raising the Festive Fever to a certain level. There is a total of 9 characters to choose from among whom the brand new dendro character Yaoyao is also included.
During the Lantern Rite festival, Genshin Impact will conduct a seven-day daily login event, “May Fortune Find You”, and the travellers will receive a total of 10 Intertwined Fates from January 19 to February 3.
