Genshin Impact Patch 2.2 Leaks: Release date, New characters, and more. As we can see, the craze of mobile games is increasing day by day across the world. The fanbase of the games is growing rapidly as we speak. Similarly, Genishin Impact has also made it to the list of top popular mobile games globally. The title has also crossed 10 million-plus downloads in the Google Play store. Genshin Impact patch 2.1 had already launched on August 31, but the developers are trying to drop the new update of the game Genshin Impact patch 2.2 within a few weeks. However, we already have some leaks about this update.
The new character Thoma is joining the game including new locations in Inazuma with the launch of Tsurumi Islands. It is expected that the islands will get added to Inazuma before the launch of the update 2.2 patch, which will feature some new characters as well.

Release Date of Genshin impact Patch 2.2 :
There is no fixed date for the launch of the update but we expect that the Genshin Impact patch 2.2 will drop in early October. Inspired by theories, a fake date of October 12 went viral as the date is exactly six weeks after patch 2.1’s update, which falls in line with Genshin Impcat’s usual update schedule.
New characters in the update of patch 2.2:
The new character Thoma is expected to join the game in the update patch 2.2 as Thoma appeared on the game’s beta version.
The Ability of the character :
Normal Attack– When the ability is in use, the character releases four consecutive polearms strikes.
Charged Attack– When the charged attack is in use, the character automatically gains some Stamina to lung, leading damage to the opponents.
Plunging Attack- When the attack is in use, the character plunges from air to strike the ground below, leading damage to the opponents, and also uses his attacks with AoE Pyro damage.
Another character Yae Miko can also be expected to join Genshin Impact patch 2.2 update. More new characters may get added as the release date comes close, so we’ll keep updating.
New Maps
It has been leaked that Tsurumi Island will come in the next update, as the two maps Seirai and Watatsumi Island already launched in the 2.1 update, which leaves one map to be added. It has been also revealed that the Island is covered with fog and dense forest for several years and haunted by ghosts and spirits.
