Genshin Impact New Lunar Realm Event released: Check out the rewards, gameplay, and more. With Genshin Impact 2.1 Version, a new gameplay mechanism had been introduced to the game called Fishing. We were previously able to “fish” in the game by blasting them or aiming at them with bow characters. The previous event differed since we could only collect fish meat regardless of the type of fish. However, the upcoming “Lunar Realm” event will revolve around fishing bait. Taking advantage of the new mechanisms, we will be able to catch a whole new variety of fish, which includes bait.

Kujirai Momiji, the fisherwoman of the Inazuman Fishing Association, has always wished to catch the legendary fish known as the “Lunar Leviathan”. Her friends have been ordered to look for him, and she has asked you to join her quest. In order to unlock the event, you must reach Adventure Rank 30, complete the “Ritou Escape Plan” Archon quest and unlock the Serenitea Pot housing system, along with completing the “Exploding Population” world quest.
This event is starting from today onwards i.e.; 10 September 2021 and will continue till 20 September 2021. It follows server time, so the exact beginning time depends on your server.
Genshin Impact 2.1 Version Lunar Realm Event Rewards:
Completing this event unlocks not only the usual rewards but an Event-Exclusive Fishing Rod called “Moonstringer” and new furnishings for your Serenitea Pot as well. It seems the Genshin Impact Lunar Realm event should be a lot of fun since fishing has already been a great experience. In addition to the fun of the event, you can get almost 420 primogems from it. Event Gameplay:
There are several tasks you must complete, including some special fishing training. Over the course of the first week, you will gradually unlock more phases of the event. You must catch fish within a time limit to receive all three rewards. If you do it quickly enough, you can receive all three rewards at once.
On your map, you’d be able to see the location of your special training every day. You’ll have a special training location every day. The only thing you need to do is choose the right bait and rod for the fish that you want to catch. It is important to remember that in the training pool, only a maximum of 50 fish can be caught per day. After that, the remaining fish would be released. This is done so that the fish species in Tevyat will be protected.
In the end, once you know the secret behind the Lunar Leviathan, you unlock a special body of water where you can catch a mysterious ornamental fish. You can catch the ornamental fish through the use of Glowgrass Bait, which is available during the event. If you run out of Glowgrass Bait, Kujirai Momiji can supply more. A maximum of five ornamental fish may be caught per day. If more than that, they will not be included in your inventory. There are other fish available in that pool as well like Crystal Fish, Dawncatchers, etc., which you can also catch with Glowgrass bait.
