Genshin Impact has released the trailer for the new permanent game mode called the Genius Invokation TCG today. The video mainly showcases the various features of the game like how the game is going to be played and many more.

The trailer also highlights the card version of the characters that are present throughout the map of Tevyat. Supposedly, the players are to enter the bar known as Cat’s Tail in Mondstat to participate in the TCG.

In this game mode, players can battle against PVE opponents and can also have friendly mock battles with each other. At the beginning of the trailer, we can see that the traveller enters the Cat’s Tail and finds many people battling against each other. The traveller meets up with Sucrose, Fischl and Diona who seem to have been waiting for him/her.
After that, the screen gets covered with colourful flashes and animation of the character cards. The trailer showed that the cards can be used to release powerful elemental skills and elemental bursts to damage the opponent’s cards and defeat him/her.
The player will be allowed to choose among the wide range of cards available. The trailer portrays fan favourite 5-star characters like Cyno, Diluc, Keqing and many more. The trailer shows the presence of a die which is most possibly going to be a key factor in this game. This is because the player would have to pay close attention to the die in order to come out of tough situations and also to win the match.
The Genius Invokation TCG system will be released in the upcoming 3.3 updates and will be a permanent addition to the game. The possibility of exciting rewards comes hand in hand with the game however players need not worry about rankings as the game is not going to be PVP in any manner.
