Release date and livestream of Genshin Impact 2.4 update
There are rumors that the upcoming Genshin Impact update 2.4 will be released in the month of January next year. There have been leaks that suggest that the 2.4 updates will run from 5th January to 15th February 2022.

It will be held on 26th December 2021 at 12:00 PM GMT or 5:30 PM IST. New characters releases in Genshin Impact 2.4 update
After leaks emerged that Yun Jin and Shenhe were going to be released in the upcoming update, even miHoYo came forward and confirmed this officially. Thus, travelers will have two new characters to look forward to.
It was speculated that Yun Jin will be the Dendro character, but now we have the confirmation that she will be a Geo Polearm. She currently exists in the game as an NPC. There were rumors that Shenhe was the human form of the Cloud Retainer, but now it has been confirmed that she is the disciple to the Adeptus. She is expected to be a five-star character, and also a Cryo-Polearm user.
New map region in Genshin Impact 2.4 update
Previously, the leaks suggested that the new region released in the 2.4 updates would be The Chasm, which is situated west of Liyue. But now, its release is going to be delayed more further. Travelers will be exploring the new map of the Enkanomiya region. It is an underground palace near Sangonomiya Shrine, rumored to be the birthplace of the Watatsumi people.
New skins in Genshin Impact 2.4 update
In this update, there is a high chance that the Keqing and Ningguang skins will be available alongside the Lantern Rite event which will be named Fleeting Colors in Flight. There are rumors that the Keqing’s skin will be available for purchase while Ningguang’s skin can be collected by completing tasks, similar to how players got skins in earlier updates.
