One of the most trending and adventurous games Genshin Impact is going to get its latest update soon. Presently, The 1.6 update is the most recent update. This update was also known as the
Midsummer Island which gave us a new island to explore and a new event known as the Genshin Impact Echoing Conches that was supposed to help us unlock a new Genshin Impact skin.
Nevertheless, this update was pretty cool and as we all know, the developers of this game always introduce new updates after a time interval of 6 weeks. All the players were expecting the new 1.7 updates to hit the marketplace anytime. While the developers had something else in their minds and officially announced that the next update is going to be the 2.0 update instead of 1.7.
By the looks of it. This update could be most probably the biggest and coolest update in the game. The developers decided to surprise us and jumped on a few versions, so I don’t think we will get disappointed even a little bit. Moving on to the features of the update. We have the new region ‘Inazuma’. The update will introduce us to a lot of new NPCs and the story is expected to advance as well. The name of this update is ” The Immovable God and The Eternal Euthymia“.
Genshin Impact 2.0: New Features
The biggest update is of the island and we expected to see 6 new islands in the game out of which three of the islands may get introduced a little late this year. We are getting a new type of Genshin Impact Wood that will help us create furniture in Inazuma.
Also, Genshin Impact gardening is going to hit the floor as one of the parts of the Serenitea Pot Housing System. We are also expected to have a number of new enemies to fight.

- Katsuragikiri Nagamasa, a four-star claymore
- Hamayumi, a four-star bow

- Amenoma Kageuchi, a four-star sword
- Thundering Pulse, a five-star bow
- Hakushin Ring, a four-star catalyst
- Kitain Cross Spear, a four-star spear
New Artifacts
- Shimenawa’s Reminiscence
- Four Piece set- while attacking with an elemental skill, if the player has more than 15 energy. The energy is used and gives the character a 50% damage boost for 10 seconds.
- Two-piece set- Attack damage increased by 18%.
- Emblem of Severed Fate
- Four Piece set- the damage if the elemental Burst increased by 25%
- Can get max 75% bonus damage this way
- Two-Piece set- Energy Recharge increased by 20%
Genshin Impact 2.0: New Characters
The players are expected to get a few new characters in this update within the Inazuma. Some of them are Yoimiya, Sayu and Ayaku. We also may be able to play as the NPCs in the new update. The new island is related to the electro element.
Genshin Impact 2.0: New Events
We are expected to get a variety of events in this update. First of all, we may get an event called ‘Thunder Sojourn‘ for straight weeks. In which players will be fighting for tokens that will later be redeemed as free Beidou. We are also going to get the return of the ‘Genshin Impact Theater Mechanicus’, ‘Lost Riches’, ‘Phantom Flow’, and ‘Ley Line Overflow’ events. That is going to reward players with a Mini Seelie Pet and many more other rewards.
This update is going to hit the game on 21st July 2021. The date and information related to the update were revealed by the developers on the 2.0 special program.
