Galaxy Racer India took its Instagram page to announce its new PUBG Mobile roster featuring ex Fnatic and Cetlz players. Galaxy Racers is a UAE-based esports organization running its South Asian division in India. The organization has been competing in various titles such as CS: GO, League of Legends, Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile, Free Fire and Fortnite.
The reason behind the announcement of the roster, despite the game being banned in the region, is getting clearer. Galaxy Racer and TSM will reportedly compete in the upcoming PMPL: Arabia starting next month. According to reports, the teams are invited to compete in the event but no official announcement has been made from the organizers.
ROSTER OVERVIEW
Previously, Galaxy Racers formed the PUBG Mobile team with the merger of Cletz and SynerGE. But the new roster doesn’t feature any player from team SynerGE. Instead, there is an addition of two ex Fnatic pro players, Owais and MaxKash in the team. Owais has been one of the most successful esports player seen in India. He started his journey with Team Soul and was able to win two consecutive regional tournaments, PMIS 2019 and PMCO Spring Split 2019. The pro player didn’t stop here. After joining Fnatic India in 2019, the team won PMAS 2019 along with Ash, Ronak, Sangwan and Paritosh.
It has been also rumoured that ex Fnatic India coach Aurum will be joining the team as the coach.
