Galaxy Racer Esports announced the suspension of a coaching staff member:  Galaxy Racer Esports has finally addressed the issues and rumors in an official statement on Instagram about the rifts and release of certain players. The rumors of rifts in the team and the release of the roster have been continuously doing rounds in the market since the conclusion of the PMPL Arabia S1 tournament. Also, 2 of their players returning to India gave fuel to the fire. Galaxy Racer Esports suspended a coaching staff member until the investigation ends.

The statement said that Galaxy Racer as an eSports organization has been continuously growing and their determination even in tough times has placed them among the leading org.s in the Indian region. With that said they acknowledged the allegations among the PUBGM team members and said that they have taken the whole scene seriously and have started the investigation about the said allegations. With a member of coaching staff suspended until all the claims are addressed. About the disbanding of the roster, they confirmed that there are no such plans as of now and the whole team is still under a contract, and they have no intentions of releasing their roster before their contract term.

This was a surprise in the community because the roster’s performance in the tournament was quite good considering the fact that it was an all-Indian roster playing their first competitive tournament in 10 months after the PUBG Mobile ban in India.

Galaxy Racer Esports PUBG Mobile roster Journey: GXR is a Dubai-based international esports organization with teams in different games and regions. They came to India in 2020 acquiring the then PUBGM roster of Team Celtz. It was one of the very few organizations that waited even after the PUBGM ban in India. They eventually took their team to play PMPL-S1 Arabia as there were no certainties about the game’s return to India.

Now that they have acknowledged the problems it remains to be seen what is the actual story behind the scenes that has led to this situation and how the team will come back after this setback.
