Mixwell and his team put on a deciding effort against Team Liquid, sending them home. The scoreboard reflects G2 Esports’ domination last night, as the Germans won the best-of-three series 2-0, with both maps on Icebox and Split ending with a 13-4 advantage.
EMEA Region is batteling out for total of 3 spots in Masters Reykjavik. Other teams were battling for the last slot after Fnatic and FunPlus Phoenix had already qualified for the event. G2 Esports, who struggled in the early stages, showed brighter in the later phases of the competition and have already confirmed their ticket to Iceland. In back-to-back games, the German team defeated M3 Champions (formerly Gambit Esports) and Team Liquid to claim the final spot in the Reykjavik Masters.
Masters of VCT Stage 1 The first international LAN event of the year will take place in Reykjavik. Next month, the greatest teams from around the world will compete for the title of best team in the world. As a result, every team shares the goal of representing their region on the international stage in this important tournament.
VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers runs from February 11 to March 27 online. Twelve teams from Europe, the CIS and Turkey are competing for a prize pool of €200,000, as well as three tickets to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Masters Stage 1 – Reykjavík, which will take place in April.
