G2 Esports CEO Carlos hits out at comments following his video with Andrew Tate – G2 Esports CEO Carlos ‘Ocelote’ slammed social media criticism against him following a video of him and others hanging out with controversial personality Andrew Tate. He defended his choice of hanging out with anyone he wants and shut down public opinion for judging him.
Following the recent ban of Andrew Tate across multiple social media platforms for his misogynist and sexist opinions and statements, the majority on the Internet discredited him for the person he is. And now, he has again become the center of debate but this time in a different context.
On September 17, G2 organization’s CEO, Carlos “Ocelote” Santiago posted an eight-second clip to Twitter, setting off a furor. He was joined by Andrew Tate along with other well-known people as he celebrated G2 winning the “world championship.” G2 is a well-known name in the esports scene, presently having players participating in Rainbow Six Siege, CS: GO, Valorant, League of Legends, and other games. It led to criticism on social media because of the organization’s size and reputation.

Most of the social media called him a hypocrite for partying with Andrew Tate. However, Carlos responded to the criticism by stating that he intended to “draw his line” and declaring that no one would be able to “police” his friendships. “Nobody will ever be able to police my friendships. I draw my line here. I party with whoever the f**k I want,” he tweeted.

There were many critics, one being, Medic, a LEC caster. He said: “There’s no way you didn’t predict this reaction. You posted a video partying with a known misogynist who calls women property. It’s misguided at best and engagement bait most likely. This is f**king low man, party with who you want but expect people to judge you for it.”
