Free Fire teases a new map Alpine that will be coming soon: There have been leaks about a new map being added into the Free Fire game. Earlier, its name was rumored to be Shangri-La. Now the developers have finally officially teased the new map on their social media handles as “The Rise of Alpine.” From this, we can infer that Alpine will be the name of the new map.
Alpine is going to be the 5th map in Free Fire
From the leaks and official images that we have seen so far, the Alpine map looks like a mixture of a snowy landscape, coniferous forests, and island terrain. From this, it looks like the developers have taken inspiration from the mountainous regions of Europe for this map.
The three-island Alpine map design also provides a lot of elements, from the high-altitude, snowy area on the northwest to the low-lying areas on the east. The southwest is a separate island along with a small island at the southeast also. The major locations on the main island are Militia, Snowfall, Railroad, Dock, and Stadium. The small island on the southeast has only one area called Vantage while the southwest island has Forest Red and Fusion as the main points.
Release date of Alpine map
Free Fire has teased the new map as “The Rise of Alpine” on various social media platforms. This means that it will be released in the game soon, probably before 2021 ends. Many speculate that Alpine will be released during the new year celebration event called “New Era.” It is because of a new event called “Alpine Resurrection” starting in Free Fire from today. Thus, most probably we will witness the Alpine map be released on 29th December 2021.
