Free Fire in Guinness Book of World Records: Garena has created the largest video projection in Las Vegas. Garena held an event at the Tropicana Las Vegas Resort over the weekend to commemorate the 4th anniversary of their survival shooter Free Fire. Limelight Projection Mapping and World Stage collaborated to produce a large 3D light art display with a full projection size and over 1.6 million lumens of light.
The video was then projected onto the Tropicana’s side, shattering the previous world record for the largest video game projected. Free Fire has been inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for its exhibition, which spans 46,733.65 square feet.

The Guinness Book of World Records judges came to ensure everything was done correctly, and the record was officially certified. The event was created to commemorate the Free Fire 4th anniversary: Free Fire was released on August 23, 2017, even if it is just now gaining global recognition.
For the Free Fire 4th anniversary, Garena teamed up with popular artists Alok, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, KSHMR, and Zafrir. As part of this, a new song named Reunion was published, which serves as the anniversary’s theme.
Garena has handed away a lot of free stuff to the gamers to recognize the game’s four-year anniversary. The event’s high point will occur on August 28, when gamers will be able to obtain a new grade simply by logging on. This will be handed to everyone for free, thanks to DJ combo Dimitri Vegas and Mike Thivaios. On this day, players will also receive cube pieces and other incentives as part of the CS Cup Challenge.
Since its release in August 2017, Free Fire has gone through many changes and milestones, which have been celebrated both in-game and in real life through different collaborations with well-known musicians from around the world. Free Fire, Garena’s iconic mobile Battle Royale game, has surpassed a slew of milestones this year alone, establishing itself as one of the world’s most successful media franchises. It will be intriguing to see what other surprises Free Fire has in store for us in the future.
