Free Fire City Open Chennai Finals: Teams, Schedule, Stream, and more. The city finals of the FREE FIRE CITY OPEN tournament have been going on from 15th June and will continue till the 9th of July 2021. This tournament, hosted by Garena is one of the first of its kind in India where teams from different cities are being able to participate in this huge tournament. The teams can showcase their talent and skills through this platform, for the players who are grinding and have a dedication towards the Free Fire game.

The qualified teams have got the best chance to represent their cities on the national stage. In this tournament, the top 12 FREE FIRE teams from 8 different cities across India are Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Lucknow, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Delhi will be competing with each other for a total prize pool of Rs.60 lakhs.

In India, this FREE FIRE CITY OPEN Tournament is a first of its kind of tournament where all the teams have a great opportunity to showcase their talent and skills and represent their cities on a national stage. City finals of some cities like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Kolkata had been already completed. Now, on the upcoming Tuesday that is on June 29th, 2021 Chennai finals will be taking place.

The top 12 teams from the city Chennai which got qualified will play in the Chennai city finals and will compete with each other to reach the finale of the FREE FIRE CITY OPEN Tournament. The top 12 teams that will play FFCO Chennai City Finals are as follows.

The FFCO Chennai Finals has a prize pool of Rs 2 lakhs for the top teams in the final standings, the prize pool will be distributed among the top four teams.

  • 1st position : Rs 1,00,000
  • 2nd position : Rs 50,000
  • 3rd position : Rs 25,000
  • 4th position : Rs 25,000

After the overall standings, the winner of the FFCO Chennai Finals will directly qualify for the Nationals Finals. The teams that hold the position from 2nd to 4th will get another chance to qualify for the National Finals. For this, they have to play the City Play-Ins with other city teams who also finished at the same spots. The Chennai City finals of the FREE FIRE CITY OPEN tournament will be live broadcasted on the official Free Fire Esports India Youtube channel.
