Fortnite Winterfest 2022: Prepare to unwrap free rewards, festive tools, and a lot more winter-themed in-game items – With the onset of winter in Fortnite, players can get ready to enjoy the upcoming Winterfest 2022. The event will consist of various presents that can be unwrapped to get rewards in-game. Here are all the details that you need to know about this.

fortnite winterfest 2022: event date
The Winterfest 2022 event has already been introduced into Fortnite. It began at 09:00 AM ET on Dec. 13, 2022, and will continue until 09:00 AM ET on Jan. 3, 2023.
Players can log into the game and check out the Winterfest Lodge (also known as the “Cozy Lodge”) for more information. As with past Winterfests events, players can access the Cozy Lodge is accessible through a snowflake tab in the Lobby.
foRTnite winterfest 2022: free items
Starting from Dec. 13, Fortnite players can unwrap a new present at the Cozy Lodge every day for the upcoming 14 days. In case the players miss checking in and opening presents, they can do it anytime before Winterfest ends (which is before 09:00 AM ET on Jan. 3).
By unwrapping the 14 presents during the event, players can get 17 items total. These include:
- 2 Outfits
- 2 Gliders
- 2 Wraps
- 3 Lobby Tracks
- 3 Sprays
- 1 Back Bling, Pickaxe, Contrail, Emote, and Emoticon
All of these items are completely free to avail and the two free Outfits are the Arctic Adeline Outfit and Sled Ready Guff Outfit.
Players can also win the new Guff Gringle Outfit for free if they log into Fortnite from the Epic Games Launcher during the Winterfest event duration. After logging in through the Epic Games Launcher on PC, they need to go to the Item Shop and redeem Guff Gringle.
Fortnite players can group up with five different friends from their friend list in any game mode during Winterfest. It will allow them to receive the Curling Iron Emote for free (the reward will be granted on or around Jan. 6).
On the other hand, Fortnite Crew subscribers who log into Fortnite during the Winterfest event will immediately receive the reactive Chill-la-la-Llama Back Bling.
fornite winterfest 2022: new tools and wintry outfits
During the Fortnite Winterfest 2022, players will be able to launch exploding snowballs with Snowball Launchers (which will replace the Rocket Launcher) and also throw down Holiday Presents while opening other presents or collecting loot.
Also, various new as well as past Wintry Outfits will be introduced in the in-game Shop. It will include the Winterfest 2022 VIPs Snowdancer and Cozy Knit Jonesy.
