Epic Games will be adding a new ranked mode in the game soon. In the trailer, we got to see that the players will be able to grab the victory royale differently. While there was no mention of the ranked game mode we were able to see the words rank. And following the pattern of normal battle royale games such as PUBG, it would be no surprise if we get a new ranked mode. It sure is an exciting moment for all the Fortnite fans.
As you can see in the video given by Fortnite, there will be a total of eight ranks. While the names of the ranks have yet to be revealed the design is pretty exciting. We can expect more information on the ranks later this week.

Hypex (data miner) mentioned that Fortnite is currently working on a racing game mode as well. So we might be able to see some connection between these two games made in the future. While this sounds interesting, looking at it the logical way this seems pretty difficult to happen.
Also, note that there may be two sections for the ranked mode. One for the zero builds and one for the classic. This new update may just end up being pretty huge for Fortnite. Make sure to stay tuned with us for more future updates.
