Epic Games have always invested heavily when it comes to Live events. Each live event has been unique in itself. The last live event was The Fracture and it was pretty great. With high expectations from this new live event, let us take a look at what we know until now.

iFireMonkey tweeted showing one of the in-game files that were added after the v24.20. The file was named Habanero and it undoubtedly hints at a new event. Gmatrixgames later replied to the tweet saying that there are also “Squeegee”, “PastelDeNata”, and “Queijada” that can be enabled through a hotfix.
According to some players, this event could be related to a volcano as Habanero means a spicy pepper in Spanish which can be considered ‘HOT’. This could be seen as a means to destroy something on Fortnite Island just like the volcano we have seen before.
While there has been no definite date we can expect this event to release anytime this season. It either can be a middle-season event or a season-ending event. The players can expect to see more details on this live event at the end of this season which will be at the beginning of June.
