Fortnite Best Friendzy Event: Play with a friend in the event to win in-game rewards. Fortnite announced today on their Twitter handle about the new event called the “Best Friendzy” where players need to play matches with a friend to win in-game rewards for free.
New in-game rewards have been launched in the game which will be given out to the participants of the “Best Friendzy” event. Participants need to play matches with any of their friends from their in-game friend list in order to win the rewards. DURATION, REWARDS, AND POINTS SYSTEM OF THE FORTNITE“BEST FRIENDZY” EVENT:
The “Best Friendzy” event begins from today 31st of August 2021 and will end on 12th of September 2021, at 4:00 PM EDT respectively. 4 new in-game items make a debut as rewards for the “Best Friendzy” event. The rewards are as follows:
- Outer Space Handshake Emoticon for 3 points
- Invasion Remix Track for 10 points
- Life’s a Beach Wrap for 20 points
- Aquari-Axe Pickaxe for 50 points
Participants need to play with anyone from their in-game friend list and earn unlimited battle royale points by playing (Duos, Trios, Squads). You need to register yourself first on this website: https://bestfriendzy.fortnite.com/ and then log in to earn points for matches played with your in-game friends. The points system of the event is as follows:
- Play for 10 minutes with an in-game friend in Battle Royale to win 1 point
- Play for 10 minutes with an in-game friend in creative to win 1 point and a maximum of 6 points respectively.
- Bonus: During your selected 60-minute Daily Bonus you will receive a 3X bonus for your time spent playing Fortnite (i.e., every 10 minutes played together = 3 points).
POINTS TO NOTE ABOUT THE EVENT:
- Players need to register on the “Best Friendzy” website so that their progress can be tracked otherwise you won’t win the rewards.
- The points’ progression will be updated on the website with an expected delay period of 30 minutes.
