The game publisher has added a new segment to FIFA 23 with a World Cup-themed interface. This will allow players to choose between several game modes. There is a standard one-on-one kick-off match that can be played locally with anyone or the computer.

In addition, the game will get a knock-out round as players can choose a team and play a one-off FIFA World Cup match. This also applies to the tournament mode, where players can pick between 32 qualified teams.

Players can also create their own tournaments. This will allow them to add teams that did not qualify. The latest FIFA 23 World Cup mode also updates the match experience, including stadium skins, special cut scenes, and two stadiums.

Speaking of the FIFA 23 World Cup 2022 mode, it starts on 21st November and connects to the World Cup matches in real-time, so players can follow the tournament like results, stats, fixtures, and lineups – all updated at the end of each tournament. This mode is divided into three parts: “Featured Quickplay” allows a one-off match against local friends or a computer. At the same time “Online Quickplay” pits players against previous, current, and upcoming matches against an online rival.

It also has “Your FIFA World Cup” mode. This allows players to inherit a team’s progression from the FIFA World Cup to tournament mode and write their own history. If a particular team is eliminated early, players can go back and rewrite the result to make their own call on who ends up winning the trophy.
