FIFA 23 Global Series: EA announced the roadmap for the FIFA 23 esports ecosystem – Electronic Arts (EA) has announced the roadmap for the FIFA 23 esports ecosystem where one of the biggest changes will be the EA SPORTS FIFA 23 Global Series (FGS) as the developers introduce a new flagship tournament series, EA SPORT cup.
From October 17, players from various esports organizations and traditional football clubs will play in 2v2 competitions for the next three months. Teams like Manchester City Esports, Paris Saint-Germain Esports, Fnatic and Complexity, etc. will be participating in the EA SPORTS Cup, which will be completed between January 16 and 21.
Similarly, 1V1 competitions will also return on the road to the FIFe World Cup 2023, starting with the release of EA SPORTS FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition on September 27. Similarly, more than 30 football league and confederation partners will launch tournaments under the sponsorship of FGS 2023.

FGS23 will include Premier League, Virtual Bundesliga, eLaLiga Santander, eLigue 1 UberEats, eMLS, scary A TIM, KPN eDivision, CONMEBOL eLibertadores and eChampions League etc. FGS 2023 Online Qualification majors will be a PlayStation exclusive like last year’s FGS season.
EA SPORTS FIFA Esports Commissioner Sam Turkbas commented on the upcoming esports tournaments for FIFA 23, as he said: “FGS collection of the world’s best stars, top esports organizations, top football clubs, associations, and confederations will demonstrate the next generation of esports on the way to the FIFe World Cup 2023.
