ESL has revealed the list of 18 Invited teams for ESL one Cologne 2020. The list consists of big names like Na’Vi, Astralis, Fnatic and many more. The main event currently has 8 invited teams and other 8 teams will qualify from the LAN Qualifiers. A total of 16 teams will be competing in the Play in qualifiers to confirm the slots for the main event.
ESL One: Cologne 2020 is the first event of the ESL one series which was launched on June 2014. This is the seventh consecutive year of the series which will be held in ESL Studio. The event will feature a massive $1,000,000 USD prize pool as well as the opportunity of another tournament win towards the third season of the Intel Grand Slam. On May 5th, ESL came up with a decision to move the event to a closed studio environment and postponed to the end of August due to COVID19.
Although the event was initially delayed, it will start from Aug 21 to 30. The Seeding of this event follows the ESL Pro Tour ranking set by ESL, which was quite different from HLTV rankings. Here is the list of first 18 invited teams –

We have got our 10 out of 16 teams that will compete in the LAN Qualifiers. Rest of 6 teams are not revealed yet. It will be out on 6th July according to EU & NA World ranking . 4 Teams will get the slot from Europe World Ranking and other 2 slots will be filled by North America World Ranking.
