ESL Pro League Season 17 Overview: Format, Schedule, Teams, Prize Pool, and Where to Watch – One of the biggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive esports events, ESL Pro League Season 17 is coming soon. This time it is starting from 22nd of February to 26th of March. It is going to take place in Malta, Europe. The prize pool is going to be $850,000. Here is the overview of ESL Pro League Season 17.

ESL Pro League Season 17: Format

The matches are going to be Four triple-elimination format groups in Group Stage. Each group is going to have 8 teams and all the matches will be in Best-of-series 3 format. The Group stage winners advance to the Quarterfinals, runners-up advance to the Round of 12 as the High seed, 3rd place teams advance to the Round of 16 as the High seed, and 4th place teams advance to the Round of 16 as the Low seed.

All the play-off matches are going to be in a single-elimination Format. All the matches excluding the grand final will be in best-of-series 3 formats. And the grand final will be in best-of-series 5 formats.

Prize Pool

The total prize pool of the event is $850,000 with will be divided among 32 participants.

  • 1st – $200,000
  • 2nd – $90,000
  • 3rd-4th – $50,000
  • 5th-8th – $35,000
  • 9th-12th – $25,000
  • 13th-16th – $20,000
  • 17th-20th – $15,000
  • 21st-24th – $8,000
  • 24th-28th – $8,000
  • 29th-32nd – $4,000
