Electronic Sports League as known as ESL announced ESL Pro League Season 13 Malta. ESL Pro League is one of the major tournaments hosted by ESL featuring the multiplayer first-person shooter video game Counter Strike: Global Offensive professional teams.

INTRODUCTION

ESL Pro League Season 13 Malta is one of the top tier tournament hosted by ESL and supported by Intel Grand Slams. ESL Pro League Season 13 will feature a massive prize pool of $750,000 USD out of which the winning team will take home $175,000 USD as the prize money.

ESL Pro League Season 13 will feature a total of 24 teams where 12 Partner teams along with 2 teams ESEA Premier teams and 10 teams from ESL World Ranking will join the competition. The groups have been already created on the 1st of February on the basis of the ESL world Ranking cutoff date of December 21st, 2020. These 24 teams are divided into four groups for the Group stage of ESL Pro League Season 13 Malta.

ESL Pro League Season 13 is scheduled to be held online from March 8th to April 11th, 2021. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, ESL Pro League Season 13 will be held Online, as per travel restrictions in some countries.

PRIZE POOL DISTRIBUTION AND ESL PRO TOUR POINTS

  • 1st Place – $175,000 – 1300 points
  • 2nd Place – $60,000  –  1000 points
  • 3rd -4th Place – $30,000 – 775 points
  • 5th -6th Place – $15,000 – 575 points
  • 7th -8th Place – $12,500 – 400 points
  • 9th -12th Place – $10,000 – 250 points
  • 13th -16th Place – $7,000 – 100 points
  • 17th -20th Place – $5,000 – 50 points
  • 21st -24th Place – $3,000 – 0 points

Besides, the prize pool an additional $5,000 will be awarded as the prize money for every win in the group stage.
