ESL announces invitations for the upcoming ESL Challenger Rotterdam 2022 closed qualifier
Four European teams accepted invitations to the closed qualifier of ESL Challenger Rotterdam 2022 in their region – forZe GG, Sprout GG, Eternal Fire GG, and Entropiq Esports. All four are currently in the top 30 of the HLTV rankings, so the battle for one spot in ESL Challenger Rotterdam 2022 will be a tough one.
After all, one team will advance from each region, with Nixuh having already occupied a place at the event in the Netherlands by succeeding in the South African qualifiers. They will be joined by four other divisions who will be directly invited. However, the invitations themselves remain unknown for now.
The last ESL Challenger tournament was held in Melbourne, Australia. The final saw two Brazilian sides, Imperial and PaiN, battle it out for the trophy, with paiN Gaming eventually winning.
ESL Challenger Rotterdam 2022 will begin on October 10, 2022, and, like the Melbourne event, will have a $100,000 prize pool and a slot in the EPL Conference S17 on the table.
