The popular game “Fortnite” (Fortnite) maker Epic Games today filed a lawsuit against the iPhone maker Apple for the way Apple manages its online store App Store. Monopoly power.
REASON FOR CLASH
Epic Games called on the Federal Court to order Apple to stop its “violating market competition” and announced the abolition of Apple’s requirement that app developers who do business in the App Store must pay 30% of the transaction fee to Apple.
Because Epic Games added a direct payment mechanism to the update of the app. Apple allowed players to bypass the App Store’s (raise) mechanism for paying players, saving money in transactions, and today kicked the “fortress hero” out of the AppStore. Epic Games Immediately filed a lawsuit. Epic games also trolled Apple policy and commitment as mentioned in a tweet by Tom Warren – (Senior Editor – The verge).

APPLE’s RESPONSE
Apple issued a statement saying: “Today Epic Games unfortunately violated App Store regulations. Those regulations apply to all developers and are designed to ensure the safety of users when using the (online) store.”
FORTNITE Vs PLAYSTORE
Epic’s claim against Google blames the tech monster for surrendering its hopeful roots and says Android’s case that it’s an open biological system is a “broken”. The lawsuit arguing that Google has established the Play Store as the only viable distribution method for Android apps. “Notwithstanding its promises to make Android devices open to competition”.
GOOGLE RESPONSE
Google explained that Fortnite has been removed from the Play Store for violating our clear and pre-established rules. “For game developers who choose to use the Play Store, we have consistent policies that are fair to developers and keep the store safe for users.”
