Epic games the developer of famous battle royale – Fortnite has announced a solo invitational event with a massive $2 million prize pool. The event will start from May 9 which will see the best players in the world competing with each other. This time the FNCS Invitational will see a slight change from the last year event.
The event will take place over the following three weekends. We’re inviting the best of the best in each region:
- The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 2 PC FNCS Finals
- The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 2 Console/Mobile FNCS Finals
- The top 100 players from Chapter 2; Season 1 FNCS Finals
- The top 100 players from Season X FNCS Finals
- Up to 100 players invited directly by Epic
The FNCS Invitational starts May 2nd, 2020 through the rest of the season. Competitors will have an opportunity to qualify to compete against the best of the best from past FNCS Grand Finals for their share of the $2 million prize pool.

In the official announcement from epic games, an open qualifier for Champion Ranked players will be starting from May 2 which allow other players to showcase their skills and make their way in the competitive scene.
As we told earlier the event will be a Solo competition and a new scoring format will feature its own prizing each week. Only the best performing players will advance to the following week. More details regarding the tournament are yet to be released by the Epic Games. Stay Tuned with us for more updates.
