Electronic Arts football games will be called EA Sports FC in the future, after their partnership with FIFA ends – Electronic Arts’ FIFA series is considered to be the most popular football gaming title across all platforms. It has grown into a massive community of more than 150 million fans, making the EA Sports FIFA series the world’s biggest football entertainment platform. But with the partnership between Electronic Arts and FIFA ending in the future, the next gaming titles of this series will be released under a new name – EA Sports FC.
Through a post on its official website, Cam Weber who is the Group GM at EA SPORTS & Racing announced that after next year, EA Sports FC will become the future of football games published by EA SPORTS. Having more than 300+ license partners across the sport, the next gaming title will take global football experiences to new heights for all football fans around the world.

Fans can expect all the features that were present in the EA Sports FIFA series to be present in the upcoming EA Sports FC games. Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Pro Clubs, and VOLTA Football will be available within the game. The game also has a licensing portfolio of more than 19,000+ players, 700+ teams, 100+ stadiums, and 30 leagues. It includes exclusive partnerships with the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, the MLS, and other regional/international football leagues.
The new title will also provide an independent platform for players to innovate, create, and evolve their gaming experiences. Electronic Arts still has another year with FIFA as the naming rights partner. Thus, the next EA football game might be the last one in the FIFA series. The company assures that it will be the best-till-date football game. It will have more features, game modes, World Cup content, clubs, leagues, competitions, and players than any FIFA title before.
