PES is the immediate and worthy competitor of the famous football simulation game, FIFA. Konami has officially announced that PES 22 will be simply called “eFootball” instead of the previous title “PES eFootball”.
The football simulation game has been a hit for many years now. EA Sports and Konami both are always looking to offer the best of gameplay to their players. However, PES has planned a bold move to distance itself from FIFA in order to have an upper edge on its competitor.
eFootball previously known as “PES” will be offering cross-platform gameplay in its latest 22 version. This means that players can compete among other platform players like XBOX, PS4, PS5, WINDOWS 10, STEAM, and even the mobile version which includes both ios and android. Crossplay for mobile devices will require an external controller.
This Free to Play cross-platform live service is a bold move by Konami which was previously offered as annual paid releases. Konami’s biggest rival EA sports still offers only paid live service for its latest release FIFA 22.
