Dr Disrespect criticizes YouTube Gaming citing their lack of support for content creators- Since his exodus to YouTube after getting mysteriously banned on Twitch, Dr Disrespect has emerged as one of the top content creators on the platform. Still, there are occasions when he is not afraid to point out the things that he does not like about this platform. In one of his latest tweets, he claimed that he “unfollowed” the platform due to a lack of recognition for his work.

With a 3.9 million subscriber count on YouTube, Dr Disrespect can be considered one of the top gaming content creators here. But back in March 2022, he had lashed at YouTube Gaming for their alleged lack of support and recognition for content creators. After some time, he claimed that the differences had been resolved.

Yesterday, he again raised the topic of their unsupportive attitude by posting a sort-of angry tweet on Twitter. He said, “I had to unfollow YouTube Gaming. They don’t support us one bit. Why would I support them? Such a phony industry I’m in.”

After his tweet, many of his fans also raised their concerns about the way that the platform is handling its creators. One of them suggested that YouTube Gaming should be “fighting” for Dr Disrespect and other content creators as they attract the audiences that bring in the views.

Dr Disrespect shifted his streaming career to YouTube after he got permanently banned from Twitch in June 2020. Doc and Twitch have since then resolved the issue but the reason for the Twitch ban was never made public. Even though Dr Disrespect does not have an official contract with YouTube Gaming, he was still able to raise his streaming career back from the scratch. Since last year, both Doc and his fans have made accusations claiming that the platform is not recognizing his work properly. This may have resulted in him posting such fiery tweets as of late.
