Chianese revealed that Dr Disrespect had firmly demanded $50 million for his services, suggesting that the roadblock might be due to the lofty financial request.
“Doc wants fifty mil, and Doc’s not playing around with that number,” Chianese mentioned.
“I love the Doc. I’ve watched him for years and years. I think he’s one of the most entertaining streamers in the business,” he added. “But fifty million is fifty million.”
Despite acknowledging Dr Disrespect’s undeniable charisma and entertainment value, Chianese emphasized the substantial sum involved. The revelation implies that the Kick team might be hesitant to meet Dr Disrespect’s monetary expectations, potentially leading to a stalemate in negotiations.
As the industry watches closely, the outcome remains uncertain. Moreover, the streamer’s involvement in other ventures, such as his game studio Midnight Society and the Black Steel Bourbon brand, might also play a role in the decision-making process.
