Manoj “SENTINEL” Kasyap, the Owner of Velocity Gaming, expressed his thoughts after his team’s heartbreaking elimination from VCL Split 2 South Asia, saying, “Lot of talk about VLT shutting down, here is a small informative tweet. VLT is too big to shut down overnight with investments in VALORANT, NEW STATE, CC section, Role-play, and not but not least, the fans. It’s not a button that can be turned off.”
Regarding current Velocity Gaming Valorant operations
Regarding Valorant, he mentioned that things are currently unclear, but he expects to gain more clarity on the matter over time. So, fans have to wait a few more days to get an update from Manoj himself.
Yes i am considerably sizing down the operations keeping them to a minimum as possible just to wait for the right opportunity to invest again. This is the year of survival.

Kasyap acknowledged that he is considering downsizing the operations of Velocity Games, keeping them to a minimum as he waits for the right opportunity to reinvest. He referred to this year as the “year of survival.”
Speaking to the fans, whom he feels obligated to reply to, he admitted that his inefficiency has played a role in the current situation. He reflected on the time spent with the team in Hyderabad in 2020 when he had more control and a lower workload due to the lockdown.
Coming to my management and players have seen them getting lot of negativity and especially my players, i was a player myself and i have to address it. The playing 6 that i had did more than whats needed of them for the event , trust me results don’t show them but 3/3

Regarding the management and players, Kasyap addressed the negativity they have faced, particularly the players. As a former player himself, he stood up for them, saying, “The playing 6 that I had did more than what’s needed of them for the event. Trust me, results don’t show them.” He emphasized that the players worked tirelessly for the event, but their mental state affected their performance, and he urged fans not to blame them.
Kasyap reassured everyone that Velocity Gaming (VLT) will always be there to support esports in India. He concluded his message by mentioning that he would provide more details and answer questions in a future YouTube stream while expressing gratitude to everyone and apologizing for failing to meet their trust.
