Dota 2 Esports: Sumail and iceiceice to Join Team Secret Dota 2 Lineup. With the addition of renowned player Syed “SumaiL” Sumail Hassan, Team Secret has finalized its Dota 2 lineup. SumaiL will return to the mid lane as part of this move, a position he previously held and excelled at.
Team Secret originally teased the return of the player with the title, ‘THE KING IS BACK,’ in the fifth and final episode of their roster reveal comic. The player’s recruitment was then announced in a formal announcement. SumaiL’s signing comes after Team Secret’s new offlaner, Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang, was announced earlier today.

The news was verified in the organization’s most recent short comic, which also revealed the new lineup and position shuffles that will take place next season. Team Secret’s lineup for the upcoming season will be as follows:
- Michał “Nisha” Jankowski
- Syed “SumaiL” Hassan
- Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang
- Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat
- Clement “Puppey” Ivanov
SumaiL previously played for OG Esports towards the end of the Dota Pro Circuit in 2021. Through the Western Europe regional qualifier, he assisted the team in qualifying for The International 10. OG Esports wanted to turn things around with The International 10 despite their terrible year. The two-time champions, however, were unable to complete a three-peat because they were pitted against eventual champions Team Spirit in the lower bracket. They were swept 2-0 in the third round of the lower bracket. SumaiL will now play with Captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov on a stacked Team Secret.
SumaiL has a lot of OG experience and was playing well enough to make it to the elimination round. Unfortunately, OG was eliminated from the competition after around three losses in the Lower-Brackets. The king’s new opportunity to compete against the greatest and win is Team Secret.

A veteran of Southeast Asia, iceiceice has been training in the toxicity and free-for-all realm that is SEA DOTA for over a decade now, putting his mark on the professional scene with a Third place finish at The International 2011. Since then, iceiceice has excelled on multiple rosters, stacking up trophies and accolades on his journey to reach us. Now, iceiceice will finally pair up with Puppey, and the East + West pillars of DOTA will finally unite!
