Dota 2: Ceb retires from the Dota 2 competitive scene, but he will stay a part of OG. Sebastien “Ceb” Debs has announced that he will be retiring from the competitive Dota 2 scene. There were already rumors floating around about his retirement after OG was eliminated by Team Spirit at The International 10. While Team Spirit became the TI10 champions, OG had to close their run with a 7th place finish.
After many years of hard work and dedication, @Ceb is stepping down from competing at the highest level.
Even though he closes this chapter, his journey with OG is just starting , many adventures are still to come.
Thank you, Ceb.

Sebastien “Ceb” Debs has been a crucial part of the OG Dota 2 roster. His knowledge of matchups and understanding of the game was one of the crucial factors that helped the team to secure the Aegis of Champions twice, at TI 8 and TI 9. Ceb had already taken a sort of retirement after TI9 to focus on the internal management of the OG team as the head of performance. With both ana and JerAx departing in tandem, OG was left in a tough spot. Although Saksa, Midone, and Sumail joined the roster, Ceb had to play as a stand-in on many occasions as the OG players were not able to join in tournaments because of COVID restrictions. Going into The International 10, he joined the main roster to represent the team on this grand stage as the defending champions.
Their run in the tournament was not up to par, the team got further weakened when Saksa and SumaiL left. SumaiL has already joined Team Secret and Saksa is also expected to play from another team. Ceb on the other hand has stated that the win-or-die mindset that had boosted his career is not present inside him anymore. He has expressed that he is still ready to give his time and energy to Dota 2, but his body cannot handle the intense requirements of a competitive player. He now wishes to contribute to the OG squad in an internal role position. OG has already teased that they will be signing two new players and will start their 2022 DPC season with a full roster.
