Indian esports organization, DarkTangent Esports has announced its discontinued from all active operations. On 26 November 2020, the team released their Clash of Clans roster.
The announcement came from them as the result of “Lack of Profitability in Esports“. DarkTangent Esports started their esports journey in 2019 where they organized some great event such as Rising Cup 1.0 & 2.0. DarkTangent Esports also had a PUBG Mobile lineup who represented them in many tournaments. They were the finalists of the PUBG Mobile India Series 2020 where they ended at 10th position. After the ban of PUBG Mobile in India, there was no information regarding the lineup.
DarkTangent Esports said, ” Today, we announce the release of our Clash of Clans roster. The team has given their best, winning 2 back to back ESL India Premierships. It has been an absolute pleasure working with them and we wish them all the success in future.”
In August 2020, DarkTangent Esports acquired Clash Of Clans roster of Indian Tribe who were the winners of ESL India Premiership 2020: Summer Season. With this roster, DarkTangent Esports represented India at the Clash of Clans World Championship LQ Semi-Finals. They also become the champions of ESL India Premiership 2020: Fall Season.
