Clash Royale Latest Update: The update brings Two new cards, and new King Levels, along with Clash Royale TV Royale – Supercell has finally revealed the content of the upcoming Clash Royale update, which will include two brand new cards. As previously mentioned, the real-time strategy card game will introduce a new Legendary and Champion unit.

Before we get into the new cards, I want to quickly cover the changes coming to Clash Royale’s trophy system, as it affects how you’ll be able to unlock champions. Champions are no longer exclusive to King Level 14. You will now be able to unlock champions through the improved Trophy Road, namely Arena 16 (Skeleton King and Golden Knight at 5500 trophies), Arena 17 (Miner and Archer Queen at 6000 trophies), and also Arena 18 (Monk at 6500 trophies).

The Monk is a champion brand new to Clash Royale. It comes from the Silent Sanctuary arena and is unlocked for 6500 trophies on Trophy Road. Monk costs 4 elixirs and has a special ability that allows you to reduce damage and bounce projectiles back toward the enemy.

When the monk attacks, he unleashes a powerful three-hit combo that pushes enemies back and deals additional damage on the final hit. For his special ability, Pensive Protection, the monk creates a protective dome around himself and nearby friends. Those affected by Pensive Protection take less damage. Any projectiles that hit him, such as the Goblin Barrel or Rocket, are fired back at the enemy.

Phoenix is a legendary card. It is a small unit with the ability to come back to the battlefield. Once defeated, the Phoenix explodes, dealing fire damage to nearby units and buildings. He also retreats into the Phoenix Egg. If the egg is not destroyed on time, the Phoenix will return with full health and ready to fight again. A phoenix can only come from its egg once per deployment.
