Since 2019, Supercell has been conducting its official esports program, the Clash of Clans World Championship. It has established itself as the highest form of competitive Clash, allowing gamers to see the best plays in the game. In 2023, the World Championship returns and it is bigger this time. Clash of Clans World Championship 2023: Supercell announces information about the CoC World Championship 2023
In its announcement, Supercell hails this year as the best year of Clash esports. Here is the list of things revealed in the announcement.
- TOTAL PRIZE POOL: The prize pool of the World Championship has been increased to a whopping $1.15 million USD.
- TOURNAMENT DATE: Begins on 24 and ends on 26 Nov. 2023.
- GAME CHANGES: This year, there will be a significant change as the new Town Hall 15 will be added to the competitive gameplay.

QUALIFYING PROCESS:
- There will be a total of 8 teams that will compete in the Clash of Clans 2023 World Championship.
- Similar to 2022, 4 teams will be able to directly qualify by winning anyone out of the 4 Golden Ticket community-organized tournaments.
- Supercell is teaming up with Queso, RUSH.GG and Clash MSTRS as the Golden Ticket organizers for 3 tournaments.
- China has been invited back to the Championship battle and hence the fourth Golden Ticket tournament will be done by a Chinese organizer.
- The remaining 4 teams will be selected through the official Championship Qualifier tournament.
