Call of Duty League 2020: Everything you need to know

Call of Duty League is a professional eSports league for popular video game Call of Duty, produced by Activision.

The Cod league follows the Overwatch league format by using a set of permanent,city-based teams backed by separate groups. Additionally, the league is played in a tournament point system and playoffs format, with players on the roster being assured a minimum annual salary, revenue sharing based on their performance.

In starting of this year Call of Duty League launched by debuting 12 city-based teams across four countries.

Regular Season – January 24th – July 26th, 2020

  • Call of Duty League – 2020 Season: Launch Weekend (Winner -Atlanta Faze)
  • Call of Duty League 2020 Week 2 – London (Winner-Chicago Huntsmen)
  • Call of Duty League 2020 Week 3 – Atlanta (Winner-Atlanta Faze)
  • Call of Duty League 2020 Week 4 – Los Angeles (Winner-Dallas Empire)

Past month unprecedented global challenges required to shift away from live events. Now the league has returned to action from April 10 at 4 p.m.ET, with the online competition and broadcast format.

The Dallas Home Series Weekend will be broadcast live from April 10 to 12 on the call of duty Official  YouTube channel and will feature eight teams in action—including the Chicago Huntsmen, Dallas Empire, Florida Mutineers, Los Angeles Guerrillas, Minnesota Røkkr, Paris Legion, Seattle Surge, and Toronto Ultra.
