Call of Duty 2025 leaks suggest it will have a similar format to 2023’s Modern Warfare III
According to Call of Duty leaker El Bobberto (or BobNetwork), the Call of Duty game coming out in 2025 might include a complete set of remastered maps from Black Ops 2. Many fans believe this leak to be true since the developer Sledgehammer Games is also trying this strategy with the upcoming 2023 Modern Warfare III title. It will have all the remastered maps from the 2009 title Modern Warfare 2 and will also introduce Zombies for the first time in the Modern Warfare saga.
On Sept. 10, Bob Network posted on Twitter:
This is very likely to change within the next 2 years, but COD 2025 seems to be like MWIII but for Treyarch’s 2024 title, featuring BO2 multiplayer map remasters
He also speculates that this strategy might change depending on how players receive the remastered maps. Another Call of Duty leaker TheMW2Ghost talked about how “similar Black Ops 2 maps being in remaster pipeline,” which further emboldened the leaked information.

During the launch of Call of Duty Black Ops 2, there were 14 maps available in the game—Aftermath, Cargo, Carrier, Drone, Express, Hijacked, Meltdown, Overflow, Plaza, Raid, Slums, Standoff, Turbine, and Yemen. There are rumors that the Call of Duty 2025 Treyarch is developing a title.
