VCT Masters 2022: Brazilian Team “Ninja in Pyjamas” Clean Sweep 2-0 EU Favorites Fnatic: Ninjas in Pyjamas defeated Fnatic 2-0 in the 2022 VCT Masters Reykjavik second Group B opening match, proving that Brazil should not be underestimated in VALORANT. Since the inception of VCT, Fnatic has been one of the greatest teams in the Valorant competitive scene. And it appears that Fnatic will continue to dominate until the qualifiers in 2022. However, we’ve noticed a drop in their performance since they qualified. At the same time, Ninjas in Pyjamas appear to be superior in terms of performance and teamwork.
Map 1: Ascent
Fnatic chose Ascent as their map, but NiP had a little issue with the European team. NIP simply arrived to play and dominate on LAN. maintaining the Brazilian momentum was simply impossible. They appeared to be better prepared, more confident and had the best aim. They won a couple more, but they were still down 3-9 at halftime.

While Fnatic attempted to claw their way back into the game, NiP took an 11-7 lead thanks to a clutch 1v3 from Benjamin “bnj” Rabinovich. NiP won the map 13-7 as a result of this momentum.
Map2: Split
With both Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fnatic trading rounds, Split started a little closer than Ascent. However, as halftime came, NiP continued to play well, increasing the score to 8-4. And then went on to overcome EU’s top squad with shorties and bucky’s, winning 13-8.

Next Match for Ninja in Pyjamas
Ninjas in Pyjamas will meet DRX in the Group A Winner’s match, Tomorrow at 10 a.m. CT, By defeating Zeta Division in the Group A elimination match tomorrow at 4 p.m. CT, Fnatic will have a second shot to make it out of the group stage.
