The Danish esports organisation BLAST joined forces with the streaming platform Twitch to host a VALORANT Ignition Series this month. The Blast Valorant Twitch Invitational will take place from 11 September to 13 September with the prize pool of €50,000.
BLAST VALORANT Twitch Invitational will be streamed exclusively on Twitch. The event consists of 4 invited teams who will battle for a combined €50,000 prize pool over three days online tournament. The broadcast will be live on twitch.tv/BLASTtv, where FunPlus Phoenix, NiP, D2 Esports and Team Liquid will be playing the event in double elimination best of 3 formats and a best of 5 final.
Soon after the release, it has become one of the fastest-growing FPS game. Earlier this year Valorant come up with Ignition series to boost up the esports scene amongst the pro players.

VALORANT created hype in fans during the closed beta in April 2020 and became the fan-favourite among the global community of first-person shooter games. VALORANT broke viewership records, where the game recorded 34 million watch hours in a single day, it also broke the record of concurrent viewers by surpassing 1.7M peak concurrent viewers in 2019 League of Legends World Championship finals 2019.
There have been more than 20 Valorant tournaments under the Ignition Series. Which has been organized by many third-party companies in partnership with Riot Games with the focus in building the VALORANT competitive ecosystem.
