BLAST Premier World Final 2021: Gambit Esports, Team Vitality, and Astralis deliver to advance further. The BLAST Premier World Final 2021 continues as teams fight for a chance to become the champions. We saw three-match series being played today, and another team faced elimination by losing in the Lower Bracket. Here is a recap of everything that happened today.

- In the first map, Inferno, Astralis started on the CT side while NIP got the T side. Astralis took a large lead in the first half with a 12-3 round score. Even in the second half, Astralis won 4 rounds against NIP’s 5 to win in Inferno with a 16-8 score.
- Mirage was the second map and NIP was on the CT side while Astralis was on T. The first half was quite close with Astralis getting a one-round lead with a score of 8-7. NIP bounced back in the second half by getting a 9-6 round score and winning in Mirage.
- The final map was Nuke and NIP started on the CT side while Astralis was on the T side. The first half was NIP’s game as they achieved a 10-5 round score against Astralis. In the second half, Astralis bounced back with their own 10-5 round score and forced overtime. Here they were able to win 4 rounds and thus the Nuke map as well.
Ninjas in Pyjamas have been eliminated from the tournament while Astralis move to the Lower Bracket Round 2 where they will face Team Liquid.

- The first map was Inferno and Liquid started on the T side while Gambit was on the CT. Liquid had a one-round lead as the first half finished with an 8-7 round score against Gambit. The second round was also close but ultimately Gambit won with 9 rounds against Liquid’s 6. This helped them to win at Inferno with a 16-14 round score.
- Vertigo was the second map and Liquid started on the CT side while Gambit was on T. Gambit gained a lead in the first half as they ended with an 8-7 round score over Liquid. This time, it was Liquid who made a comeback in the second half getting 9 rounds while Astralis managed only 5. With a 16-13 score, Team Liquid won in Vertigo.
- The final map was Overpass and Gambit opened on the CT side while Liquid was on T. Gambit completely dominated Liquid here. They took the first half handsomely with a 13-2 round score. Continuing the momentum, they won 3 rounds from the start and emerged victorious in Overpass with a 16-2 score.
Team Liquid will move down to the Lower Bracket where they will face Astralis. Gambit Esports advance into the Upper Bracker Finals where they will match against Team Vitality.
Team Vitality vs G2 Esports
- The first map was Nuke with G2 starting on the CT side and Vitality on the T side. G2 gained a sizeable lead in the first half by getting a 9-6 round score over Vitality. In the second half, Vitality bounced back by winning 10 rounds while G2 managed only to get 1. With a 16-10 score, Vitality won in Nuke.
- The story was the same in the second map, Mirage. Vitality started on CT while G2 was on the T side. G2 got a lead in the first half by winning 9-6 rounds against Vitality. Yet, in the second round, Vitality bounced back with a 10 round win against G2’s 4. Team Vitality won even this map by getting a 16-13 score.
Team Vitality will now head over to the Upper Bracket Finals where they will face Gambit Esports. G2 Esports will fall into the Lower Bracket to go against Natus Vincere.
