BLACKPINK X PUBG Mobile Collaboration: BLACKPINK will host a PUBG Mobile in-game concert – BLACKPINK has been one of the best K-pop girl groups in history since its debut in 2016. If there is one thing they love the most, it is surely collecting accolades from different award-giving bodies and now BLACKPINK announced their partnership with Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile for their in-game concert on July 12 with the release of a pink and black poster.

The forthcoming concert, titled “THE VIRTUAL,” will take place on July 22–23, July 29–30 for North and South America, and July 23–24, July 30-31 for the rest of the world. The first in-game concert for PUBG Mobile will take place here.

A YG Entertainment spokesperson told South Korean media sources that “together with the members’ 3D avatars, three-dimensional music and performances will come to life using the high-level technology of the game production business, PUBG Mobile.”

They also shared another exciting piece of news, saying, “BLACKPINK will debut a unique single at ‘THE VIRTUAL.'” Fans will get a one-of-a-kind new experience thanks to the virtual concert. The performances, in particular, will be done with motion capture, creating a lifelike atmosphere akin to the actual thing.”

BLACKPINK is a four-member South Korean girl group. Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa . The band made its debut in 2016. Their most recent group reunion was in 2020, with the title track “Lovesick Girls.”In the years since members, Rosé and Lisa have recorded solo material. Meanwhile, Jisoo appeared in the K-Drama Snowdrop. During the group’s hiatus, Jennie has been quite busy with her endorsement job.

Previously, on July 6, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK will release new music in August. BLACKPINK will go on the largest-ever world tour for a K-Pop girl group before the end of the year in order to improve communication and reach with fans worldwide. We will also continue large-scale collective projects.”
