The next esports event will be held on August 15, 2021, to celebrate Indian Independence Day. The video promoting the event is released on Krafton’s official YouTube channel.Â
Here’s what you need to know about the Freedom Face-Off Event
The official video suggests the event will take place on August 15th, 2021 at 12 PM. The occasion is intended to celebrate Indian Independence Day and pay homage to the Indian Bravehearts. A total of 16 top teams from around India will participate in this event and celebrate this special day.Â
The event features a combined prize pool of 1,50,000 Indian rupees for the tournament. There will be a live stream of the tournament on 15th August from 12 noon on the official Battlegrounds Mobile India Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series and Launch Party
This would be the third event announced and the second organized by Krafton (BGIS is still in the registration phase).Â
Last month, a launch party for the Battlegrounds Mobile India app, which included 16 Youtubers competing for a prize pool of 6,00,000 Indian rupees, was a huge success. With his team, Snax gaming won this competition, and Kronten and Ronak came in second and third respectively. With five consecutive chicken dinners, Team Ind dominated the competition.
