Several rumors are swirling that the iOS version of Battlegrounds Mobile India by South Korean developer Krafton will be released soon. Since its release on Android devices, the game has become immensely popular in India. There have been more than 50 million downloads of the app. There have been 2.4 million concurrent users and 16 million daily concurrent users, and BGMI officials claim it is unlikely to fade anytime soon.

Battlegrounds Mobile India was released for Android users on July 2, 2021, but thousands of Battlegrounds Mobile India fans are currently waiting to enjoy it on their iOS devices. PUBG Mobile India, now called Battlegrounds Mobile, was banned by the country in 2020, and it seems the game is PUBG Mobile 2.0.

However, iOS users will not be able to play Battlegrounds Mobile India yet since the game has not been released. Since most competitive PUBG players prefer to play the game using an iOS device, Battlegrounds Mobile India developers must release the game for iOS at the earliest opportunity.

The game is rumored to be released soon on iOS devices by South Korean company Krafton, which built Battlegrounds Mobile India. Relatedly, Team Godlike Esports Owner and Player Kronten said, “It will take a while before the game releases on iOS. It’ll take a couple of days.” In a similar vein, Naman Mathur aka Mortal said “As of now, it seems unlikely that BGMI will be released on iOS any time soon. I talked with Krafton and saw they were not able to provide much information. They said they still need some time to come up with something solid.”

The official support page on Krafton’s website states that Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS v1.0 will be released very soon. There was earlier speculation that Battlegrounds Mobile India will be released on the same day it will be official launched for Android users by Esports personalities like Ghatak. But Battleground Mobile India was only released for Android users on July 2.
