They announced that Data transfer from PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) will stop for Facebook users, and the Facebook app will be required to log in on Android devices from October 5.
As one of the biggest data transfers in history, PUBG Mobile to Battlegrounds Mobile India involved a lot of data transfers. Currently, Krafton allows players to transfer data from the PUBG Mobile Nordic Map: Livik to the Battlegrounds Mobile India. The company posted a blog about it was planning to stop transferring data to Facebook for players using that login method soon. The reason for this is a change in Facebook’s policy update in regards to the SDK.

After October 5, users of Android devices will be unable to log in to a Facebook account via the embedded browser. The last date to transfer data is September 28. Although users will still be able to log in with their Facebook accounts, the Facebook app will be required on the device in order to play the game.
“We would like to request that you transfer your Facebook account before the 28th of September,” the company said in a blog post. Additionally, if you do not have the Facebook App installed on your device after October 5, you will not be able to log in. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please install the Facebook App. “We apologize once again for the inconvenience caused by these changes,” the company wrote.
Here are the instructions on how to transfer your PUBG Mobile data to Battlegrounds Mobile in India
- Open Battlegrounds Mobile India.
- Tap Basic in the Settings panel.
- You can transfer data from your previous account by selecting the option to do so.
- Allow the transfer by logging into your Facebook account or Twitter account.
