BGMI 2.8 Update: When will the next update release with new features and modes?
Although Krafton has not officially announced the release date of the upcoming BGMI 2.8 update, it is highly likely that the update will be released in the first half of October 2023. The update will mostly be available on Android devices first and then released on iOS devices sometime later. Moreover, we also have an idea regarding the new themed mode in the upcoming update.

According to a Twitter Post by user BattlegroundmIn on Sept. 14, Krafton will introduce a new themed mode called Zombie’s Edge in the next update. This will be a PvE mode where players will have to battle against various zombie creatures in an abandoned city.
The new A2 Royale Pass will also be released in the 2.8 update. It will have new skins, emotes, and various other rewards that players can unlock through progression. As per the leaks, a new melee knife, crossbow weapon attachment, and hoverboard vehicle might also be introduced in BGMI with the 2.8 update. This update will also include new bug fixes and in-game improvements.
